中文摘要 | 壓鑄製程中,柱塞衝射速度之設定對於鑄件品質具有決定性之影響。不論太快或 太慢均將導致空氣捲入合金熔液內而產生不良之壓鑄件。本研究應用可以模擬具有移動邊牆 特性灌模問題的彈性規則計算網格的處理技術,在壓鑄製程中,模擬壓鑄機之射料套筒內部 的柱塞頭在推送熔湯進入模穴時的流場分佈狀況。 在二維的解析案例中,無法和實際的熱模或水模結果相互比較,在本研究中已成功的將二維 彈性規則計算網格的網格處理方式擴展為三維解析系統,可模擬實際壓鑄機射料套筒內部的 熔湯充填狀況,進而應用於柱塞移動慢速充填過程設定不當所導致射料套管內捲氣現象之研 究。模擬的結果也與水模及美國鑄造學會之資料進行比較,以驗證程式的可靠度。本程式開 發結果將有助於製程工程師設定柱塞移動慢速衝程速度,以減低初期捲氣現象發生之機會。 |
英文摘要 | In die casting, the setting of the plunger speed in the shot sleeve has a decisive effect on the obtained quality of the die casting. If the plunger speed is too fast or too slow, it will entrain air in the molten metal. A 'Variable Spacing Regular Mesh System', which is known to be capable of solving the problems with a moving grid wall against fluid boundary, to simulate the filling process in the shot sleeve when the molten metal is injected into the die cavity by the plunger. The results of two dimensional analysis can not be compared to the observation of the water model. The purpose of this study is to develop a three dimensional analysis system to numerically simulate the flow pattern of molten metal in the shot sleeve in a cold chamber die casting machine. The result of simulation is compared to the water model experiments and data published by the American Foundrymen's Sociaty to assure the accuracy of the program. With the aid of the system, it is possible to determine the optimum plunger speed in the die casting operation. |
