中文摘要 | 本研究主要探討台灣原住民女性教育地位取得之過程。我們試圖了解父親教育、母親教育、父親職業地位及農家出身等四個家庭背景變項對原住民女性教育成就取得的影響程度。本研究所使用的分析資料來自中央研究院1995-1996年「台灣地區社會變遷基本調查資料」,一共取得119名原住民女性及3916名漢人女性樣本。為了解家庭背景對原住民女性教育取得的變遷情形,我們將樣本劃分為高、中及低三個年齡層加以分析。經運用描述性與多元迴歸統計分析方法,結果發現:父親教育對原住民女性教育取得僅在低年齡層人口群中方顯現影響力;父親職業地位則在高年齡層人口群中具顯著影響,但隨年齡層降低,影響力已不存在;農家出身在高年齡層具顯著正向影響,但到低年齡層此影響力已轉為負向效果。比較漢人女性教育地位之取得,四個家庭背景變項左高、中與低三個年齡層均具顯著影響力。 |
英文摘要 | The paper explores the educational attainment process of Aborigine females. The attention was focused on father's education, mother's education, father's occupation and farm origin as factors contributing to educational attainment. The data came from the 1995 and 1996 Social Change Survey in Taiwan. The sample included 119 Aborigine females and 3916 Han females. Descriptive analyses and multiple regression analyses were used to analyze the data. Younger, middle and older cohorts of respondents are examined to judge whether four family background variables on respondents' educational attainment have changed over time. The results showed that father's education has a positive effect on educational attainment of Aborigine females in younger cohort but has no measurable effect for middle and older cohorts. Father's occupation positively effects educational attainment of Aborigine females in older cohort but has no measurable effect for middle and younger cohorts. Farm origin positively effects on educational attainment of Aborigine females in older cohort but negatively effects in younger cohort. Four family background variables are found to be important factors in explaining educational attainment of Han females in three age cohorts. |
