英文摘要 | Within the framework of the Landauer theory, we express phonon thermal conductance in terms of its transmission probability in the ballistic phonon regime. The conductance of a wire perfectly connected to a reservoir can be quantized at low temperature. Treating the contact between the quantum wire and the reservoir as a rectangular barrier, we reexamine the problem for an imperfect wire; our results show a quantized behavior at very low temperatures that coincides with the recent experiment. |
