英文摘要 | The interworking between PSTN and IP networks is an emerging topic in telecommunication industries. To face the competitive challenge in the near future, it is essential for Telco to build a seamless network environment. International standard bodies, ITU, ETSI and IETF are developing technique specifications which aim at providing signaling and service interworking in an efficient way. This article evolved. It is the general model to utilize gateways to provide the interworking function between circuit switching and packet switching domain. The full interworking function shall take the transport layer, call control layer, and service layer into account. The decomposed gateway architecture is expected to be the carrier solution. |
