英文摘要 | The production apparatus for conventional rock sugar is to be redesigned. The objective is to develop a labor-saving, high-efficiency, factory-scale apparatus to produce cotton thread-free rock sugar. It consists of a temperature controlled room, carriers, syrup barrels, syrup-discharge tank, and demold machine, Coarse-surfaced metal sticks, which allow nucleation and rock sugar growth, are substituted for cotton thread. This results in 114-hour production/batch time in which three sized of rock sugar are produced. After one year's operation, the total sugar recovery is about 30.41%. |
