中文摘要 | 領導才能並非是與生俱有的特性,可以經由正式與非正式的訓練加以培養,更可透過精心設計的領導才人培育計畫改進個人的領導能力與技巧。為了培養農業這個產業的有效領導人才,美國俄亥俄州立大學農學院於1985年推出兩年一期的「俄亥俄州LEAD計畫」第一班次,而此計畫的第六班次也即將於今年六月完成。本研究乃針對此計畫所做的影響評估,研究對象為參加第一班次至第四班次的學員。根據學員所參加的各種組織與次數、會議或活動出席情形、取得組織會員資格之方式、擔任組織委員會之職務、在各組織中擁有辦公室情形、以及參與組織或活動之層次等指標來評估LEAD計畫對參加學員潛在領導能力之啟發與發展的影響程度;並調查參加學員對此計畫所具優點的認同程度,同時也徵詢學員對LEAD 計畫正負面影響之個人意見。整體而言,LEAD計畫的正面影響遠多於負面影響,參日學員大都對LEAD計畫所產生的種種利益或優點給予很高的評價。 |
英文摘要 | Leadership is not an inborn characteristic. Through formal and informal training, leadership can be developed, Especially through circumspect design of leadership development programs, individuals leadership and skills can be improved. In order to develope effective leadership in agricultrual sector, the Ohio LEAD program was designed in 1984 by faculty in the College of Agriculture at the Ohio State University. The first Ohio LEAD class began their two-year program in 1985. Most recently, Class VI began in September, 1995 and will complete their leadership development program in June, 1997. The study tried to document the impact of the Ohio LEAD program upon the participants. The purpose of this study was to describe the personal characteristics of participants in Ohio LEAD Classes I through IV; their current leadership roles; and the participants' perceived benefits and disadvantages of the LEAD experience. In general, the positive impacts were far more than negative impacts and most of the participants highly valued the benefits and advantagees of the LEAD experience. |
