中文摘要 | 在國內外地理資訊系統(Geographic Information Systems,GIS)應用於生態保育、觀光旅遊、環境保護、商業應用、交通運輸、社會安全與防救災等方面均已相當普遍,但於育之應用尚無相關之研討出現,故而本研究將以GIS於商業之應用為依據,並結合交通之考量,以本校為主體來發展此一新科技。近年來教育界的生態環境競爭日趨劇烈,尤其入學方式多元化、大學院校劇增、交通持續惡化、就學人數降低等,再再地加深了各校招生之困難,在加入WTO後,更面臨了國外大學來臺競爭之雪上加霜,尤其以大學系統及技職系統二者之比較而言,上述之情況對技職系統之衝擊更大,本校(美和技術學院)招生對象以技職系統學生為主,且位處於臺灣最南端,交通並不便利,更處於競爭劣勢。尤其本校自升格為技術學院後,學生來源已有結構性之變化,本研究動機為調查學生地理資料(居住地點)對學生於通學時面臨校車、大眾運輸系統或汽機車三種運具選擇決策時之影響,以作為學校日後發展策略訂定及提高交通服務性之參考依據。本研究以本校居住於高屏地區學生為研究對象,調查其地理資料及運具選擇之考量因素,藉由-GIS軟體-ArcView,將學生地理資料屬性表與電子地圖聯結後,即可以ArcView之空間展示功能來觀察學生之主要來源,分析學生於通學運具選擇時考量的因素,進而討論如何提高對學生交通之服務性。 本研究成果有以下數點結論: 1. 學生來源分佈於本校四周,其中僅鳥松鄉及新埤鄉有明顯的缺口,無學生來源,值得檢討,而二都會區高雄市及屏東市、內埔鄉、潮州鎮等四區為主要學生來源區,該種現象說明了招生現況尚稱正常。 2. 絕大部分非居家學生之原居地距離本校15公里以上,故而未來可能住校之學生群原居地應是位於半徑15公里圓外。 3. 搭校車之族群均分佈在本校之西北方,主要搭校車群為高雄市,次要群為屏東市以北之九如、里港一帶,反而屏東市不是校車的主要搭車群。 4. 居家非搭校車而自備交通工具者幾乎都以東西向均佈於距離本校15公里內,而居家非搭校車然搭大眾運輸工具分佈圖則同樣為15公里以內分佈,但較偏向南北向。 基於調查交通之因素以提高服務性考量下,若再將交通路網聯結後加入分析,則可大大的提高對學生之交通服務性。 |
英文摘要 | Geographic Information System (GIS) has been well applied to either industry or business. However, it is still not developed to the academic institutes yet. Therefore, this study attempts to utilize GIS to analyze the interrelationship between school issues and the school students' residential distribution, in which the spatial network analyses are carried out to perform the considerations of transportation. In recent years, the educational system of universities has changed dramatically. Moreover, being a member of WTO will yield more impacts apon the system. And it means a tougher competition to most of the universities. The GIS software, ArcView, is used to transform the collected attributes and geographic data to the digital type carrying on geographic information and then in which the GIS functions such as statistical, spatial, and network analyses may play an important role to get some conclusions which cannot be possible drawn from the raw data. In fact, the drawn conclusions may be useful, efficient, and in time for a decision-maker such as the principal or the board of education of the college to improve the school's management matters, in which transportation and traffic considerations are included as well. The study took the Mei-Ho institute of technology as an example, which is located at the Pingtung Hsien, the southern tip of Taiwan. Both business and technology schools were added to the institute just few years ago. Therefore, requiring extra new students together with the tougher competition, the adequate enrollments of students becomes a quite serous issue as far as the financial sufficiency is concerned. This research tries to provide valuable conclusions to satisfy the school expectations. Besides, the information like the conclusions of this study is also "readable" and "understandable" due to the presentation of GIS in this study. As last, many available GIS types of software such as ARCVIEW, Arc/Info, Mapinfo, and WinGIS can be used in this study. Since this study emphasizes the methodology of the GIS applied for the use of school issues, ARCVIEW is accepted only because of popular usage in school. |
