中文摘要 | 台灣的音樂產業自1990年代開始進行國際化的歷程,全球五大跨國音樂集團─新力、博德曼、華納、環球、和科藝百代,紛紛進入台灣的市場,對本土的唱片公司形成極大的競爭壓力。另一方面,亞洲的華文地區基於語言使用和文化的接近性、以及衛星傳播科技的普及,因此得以形成一個區域性的市場。在面對全球化與區域化的潮流之下,台灣唱片公司的華語歌曲產製策略為何,以及如何運用,是本研究主要的研究焦點。本研究以個案研究的方法,就跨國集團所屬的台灣新力音樂公司、與本土獨立的滾石唱片公司,進行比較分析。研究結果發現,滾石公司較新力音樂公司,在區域化的華語市場中,有較佳的資源整合的表現,也較能注重台灣本土音樂文化的發展。 |
英文摘要 | The music industry in Taiwan has experienced the process of internationalization since the 1990s. On the one hand, the ‘Big Five’ transnational recording companies--Sony, Bertelesman, Warner, Universal, and EMI--have entered into Taiwan's market, and brought much pressure on local companies. On the other hand, a regional market has been developed in Eastern Asia in terms of cultural and language closeness, and the transmission of satellite technologies. This research focuses on how and what production strategies are used by the recording companies, facing the development of globalization process and the regional market. This research uses the case study to compare the differences of production strategies between Sony's subsidiary in Taiwan and local Rolling Stone company. The results indicates that Rolling Stone company have better resource integration and is more helpful to the development of local music culture than Sony's subsidiary. |
