英文摘要 | A Wide variety8 of abnormal behaviors in sleep, including parasomnias and seizures, are defined in The International Classification of sleep disorders (ICSD). The ICSD is comprised of Dyssomnias, Parasomnias, Sleep Disorders Associated with Mental, Neurologic, or other Medical Disorders, and PLroposed sleep Disorders. As such, parasomnias account for approximately one-quarter of all sleep disorders, while sleep-related epilepsy is described under Sleep Discorders Associated with Mental, Neurologic, or other Medical Disorders. As parasomnias and nocturnal seizures generally occur with elevated motor and autonomic activity, they8 can present with a similar clinical appearance. Medicine is based upon an extensive history. Sleep disorders are intrinsically associated with a paucity of detailed history. The recent advent of expanded digitized, video-polysomnography (PSG) has to a great extent made up for this lack of history and has proven invaluable in the differentiation between parasomnias and nocturnal seizures. |
