英文摘要 | In this article, we investigate an application of the balanced disjoint (BD) design for the estimation of quantitative genetic parameters in different environments. We consider restricted maximum likelihood estimates (REML) and compute them by an iterated least squares (ITLS) method based on sufficient statistics. With total number of observations fixed and given the value of variance components for the model considered, we propose a response surface method to search for the optimum BD design using the asymptotic variance of REML as the criterion. |
