中文摘要 | 本研究目的在建立火鶴花之雜交技術,俾利雜交選育適應本省環境之自有品種。試驗結果顯示,火鶴花柱頭產生黏膠物質時即為適當授粉時期。雄蕊釋放花粉之習性品種間差異甚大,在台糖研究所環控溫室下,大部分品種於12月至翌年4月之間比較容易釋放花粉,多數品種在柱頭褐化後釋收,少數品種有時會在花苞展開之初先釋放花粉。為防止不明品種花粉傳播到選定之母本柱頭上而發生自然授粉,以透明PE封口袋進行套袋具有操作方更、花朵開放進程及果實成熟度容易觀察,易於把握適當授粉時間及種子採收工作。以中楷毛筆或4號水彩筆做為收集花粉及授粉之工具,可獲得較高之孕穗率及每穗結實數。 |
英文摘要 | In order to build up the crossing techniques between Anthurium varieties, studies have been carried out at the Taiwan Sugar Research Institute. The best timing for pollination was the matured stigmas on the spadix produce sticky material. The cooler period from December to April the following year was found to be the favorable time for most Anthurium varieties to shed pollens under the conditions of the environment-controlled greenhouse. Pollen-shedding habits varied greatly, dependent on the variety. Most varieties shed pollens after their stigmas were no longer receptive. Some varieties, however, occasionally shed pollens soon after the spathe unfurl. The transparent minigrip PE bag was found to be a good envelop to encase the Anthurium flower to prevent pollination by undesired pollens (open pollination). The bag is easy to handle and it allows viewing of the development of the flower, which is important in determining the time to pollinate. The pen brush was a good tool to collect pollens into a container form the male parent as well as being an excellent pollen carrier for pollinating. The pen brush pollinating method yielded the highest fertility and greater seed-bearing on the spadix than other pollination methods. |
