中文摘要 | 正如任何氣動式人工心臟一樣,氣動式鳳凰七號人工心臟亦受制於兩條氣管及頗 為龐大的控制監測系統,這不但使病人行動不方便而且亦容易因感染而引起致命的併發症。 本中心現正積極發展之電動液壓式全人工心臟,即為克服諸此問題而設計。 電動液壓式人工心臟的相關設計理念乃是將原鳳凰七號人工心臟外殼加覆囊包( sac ), 且將矽膠油( silicon oil )注入原蛋形內膜,同時並埋入電動液壓泵。 當心臟“舒張” 時,電動液壓泵將矽膠油經步進馬達的換向機構從內膜導至囊包,而間接推動心房內的血液 得以湧入人工心臟血室;而當心臟“收縮”時,藉由步進馬達換相機構的切換,液壓泵將矽 膠油由囊包充入內膜,以推動血液由血室內排出而進入動脈。 |
英文摘要 | Without affecting any basic designs of the Pneumatic Phoenix-7 total artificial heart, two energy converters are installed between both ventricles to replace pneumatic power. The energy converter consists of a dc motor, a wellshaped impleeller and a flow channel, composed of a couple of sleeves, located around the impeller. It drives silicone oil to alternatively inflate and deflate the diaphragm of the heart by the one-way rotation of the impeller connected to the dc motor and the reciprocal rotation of the inner sleeve connected to a servo motor. The serve motor is sandwiched between left and right hearts. Holes have been drilled appropriately on the surface of the sleeves to serve as inlets and outlets for silicon oil flow during the systolic phase and the diastolic phase. The flow channel works as a one-way valve to guide flow's direction during each cardiac cycle. Bcause the artificial heart is intended to have no physical connections through the skin, power must be induced from an outside source. The transcutaneous energy transmission system of the heart consists of an external battery pack and oscillator that converts battery voltage to a power signal which, in turn, drives an external coil. Electrical energy is coupled through the skin from the primary coil to a secondary coil implanted in the abdomen. The signal is then converted to dc, which recharges internal batteries and powers the heart. The artificial heart is expected to deliver approximately 8 liters of blood per minute at 110-mm Hg pressure. |
