中文摘要 | 本研究主要目的在建立洋香瓜之產銷基本資料,除引用歷年來的次級資料,並於產地進行訪查,同時根據自然條件與經濟條件,並參酌技術條件與農民意願,分析洋香瓜產業的現況,以了解其市場潛力,進而預測未來洋香瓜的市場需求量,研擬洋香瓜的產銷規劃。研究成果顯示:本省近五年的種植面積約8,000公頃,年總產量約12萬公噸,民國86年平均每公斤的生產成本約12.37元,每公斤的售價約22.94元,其中運銷費用每公斤約4.34元,每分地產量約2,044公斤,因此每分地的收益為12,734元。生產方面遭遇到的困難主要有:連作障礙、病蟲害防治困難、受自然因素明顯牽制、勞力短缺﹔銷售方面遭遇到的困難主要有同行競爭激烈、市場通路太小、產品壽命短、替代品威脅越來越大、被中間商掌控。由供需因素資料分析顯示,洋香瓜的市場年需求量約在112,000公噸,也就是最適生產面積應維持在每年7,000公頃左右。十年以上產區易發生土壤性病害,在適地適種的考量下,可在這些鄉鎮的部分地區進行轉作輔導。洋香瓜日後應往高品質、精品化路線努力,相對地精簡生產面積。除嚴格實施產品分級包裝制度,建立品牌,積極辦理共同運銷外,更應配合市場需要直接運銷,並於盛產期舉辦促銷活動、拓展外銷市場,增加產品的銷路及穩定價格。 |
英文摘要 | The planting area of muskmelon is around 8,000 hectare in the last 5 years, with a production of 120,000 tons/year in Taiwan. The production cost of muskmelon is $12.37/kg , marketing cost is $4.34/kg, farm-gate price is $22.94/kg, and the yield is 2,044kg/ha, therefore the profit is $12,734/ha in 1997. The difficulties encountered in production are: continuous cropping obstacle, diseases & pests preventing, nature limitation and labor shortage, while in marketing the major problems are: business competition, few marketing channels, short storage period, the threat of substitutes and manipulated by middle man. According to the demand-supply analysis, the consumption of muskmelon is 112,000 tons per year, which account for 7,000 hectares of planted area per year. It is easier for areas planted over 10 years to get soil-born disease, therefore they are recommend to transfer to other crops. The muskmelon industry should pursuit high quality product and decrease planted area. The strategies include strictly execute product grading, build up brand name, work on co-market, direct marketing and promotion sale, or even export to other countries to extend marketing channel, and thus stabilize price and income. |
