中文摘要 | 旅館業長久以來面臨嚴重的人員流失率,因此人力不足及的人事成本的問題相應 而生,多份研究報告顯示餐旅業之員工之獎勵或薪資制度與工作滿意度息息相關,然而相較 於其他行業或旅館業其它部門,房務部清潔員之薪資所得普遍的偏低,本研究透過抽樣之房 務部主管調查在旅館客房清潔員之各種薪資給付方法及看法。結果顯示房務部主管認為房務 清潔員的薪資以工作時數計算並加上其超過的房間數是最好的方法,而且也是旅館業最普遍 的薪資給付方法。 |
英文摘要 | Due to the labor shortage and costly turnover, the topic of retaining housekeeping workers is a critical issue to discuss. Although the question of how to retain employees has been studied for some time, much attention has been given to job satisfaction in terms of turnover and reward or pay system has been reported to be the least satisfactory factor in the food hospitality industry. Nonetheless, how pay methods relate to job satisfaction still continue to be unclear. This study was used to investigate the perceptions of executive housekeepers toward pay methods in the hotel industry. The result indicated that the method of paying room attendants by hourly plus per room extra was the most common and the best way perceived by executive housekeepers in the hotel industry. |
