英文摘要 | No.6 Slab Caster is the first twin caster which can produce twin slab in CSC. Twin operation techniques, such as tundish preparation, dummy bar insertion, casting start, twin auto start and twin long sequence casting, are much more complicated and difficult than single slab casting. This paer focuses on what the problems encountered during testing period, and how we solved these problems and established our own techniques with our experience in a very short period. At the same time, we affirmed the casting style of twin production, and made the optimal production arrangement for the three slab casters in No.2 steelmaking shop according to the characteristics of these machines, so that the production could be brought into full capacity, and finally reached to ten millions metric tons yearly in 1998. |
