英文摘要 | Ammonium perchlorate crystals with a narrow size distribution and low water con- tent were produced from an apparatus consisting of two batch stirred tanks in series: one for generating secondary nuclei and the other for growing crystals. The produced crystals were partially dissolved in a fluidized bed to obtain rounded product crystals. Operating variables known to influence secondary nucleation, crystal growth, and crystal dissolution were investigated, in-eluding seed weight, seed size, impeller material, agitation speed, operating time in the nuclei-generation step, temperature profile in the growth tank, and undersaturation in the dissolution tank. Finally, the quality of crystals produced by the secondary mechanism was compared with that produced by the primary mechanism. |
