中文摘要 | 本研究以八十四個語音最小配對雙字詞( 例如, 大道 /ta-tau/ -地道 /ti-tau/ ), 收集十名二十歲左右的男性大學生的語音樣本,探討國語六個主要語音對比 「元音高低」、「元音前後,、「送氣與否」、「塞擦或擦音」、「塞或鼻音」、「不同塞 音構音部位」中,具有區辨語音對比性質的特定聲學參數。結果顯示第一共振峰的高低標示 「元音高低」的不同; 「元音前後」對比表現在第二與第一共振峰的差距( F2-F1 );「 輔音的送氣與否」則以嗓音起始時間( VOT )長短做區分; 「塞擦或擦音」則在摩擦噪音 時長及起始沖直條出現百分比兩類聲學參數上有顯著差異;「塞或鼻音」有著鼻音特徵值的 差異; 「塞音構音部位」的差別表現在沖直條最強能量頻率及 VOT 兩類聲學參數的變化。 此一正常人國語語音聲學參數的測量結果,不僅可以客觀地界定語音的特性,應用語音合成 去檢驗這些聲學參數在語音知覺上的重要性,更可以作為評估不同說話障礙者的清晰度的參 照指標。 |
英文摘要 | Many studies in English have revealed that acoustic analysis of speech was a valuable tool in exploring the underlying articulatory movements during speech production. However, there is a paucity regarding to the detail descriptions of acoustic features in Mandarin Chinese. Use of the minimal phonetic contrast task allowed researchers to correlate spectral and temporal characteristics with specified phonetic features. Six selected phonetic contrasts, which included two vowel contrasts (height and frontness) and four consonant contrasts (aspiration-unaspiration of stop, affricate vs. fricative, stop vs. nasal, and articulation place of stop), were embedded in 84 bisyllabic words. Results of 10 male young adults showed that seven acoustic parameters. First formant (Fl) (vowel height), the difference between first and second formant (F2-F1 ) (vowel frontness), voice onset time (VOT) (aspiration of stop), friction noise duration and the occurrence rate of initial burst (affricate vs. fricative), nasality score (stop vs. nasal), and peak fre- quency of burst spectrum (articulation place of stop), clearly indicated the articulation difference for each phonetic contrast. These findings were further discussed in the relationship between articulatory movements and phonetic fea- tures of Mandarin, comparison to English phonetic acoustics, and clinical applications in speech therapy. |
